Astroknot is a unique design by Livewire Puzzles and was originally presented as the exchange puzzle at the 1994 International Puzzle Party in Seattle, Washington.

Topologically speaking Astroknot is a member of the "ladder ring" family of puzzles, however it differs from many of its family members in that it is non-planar, and therefore solving it requires a three-dimensional approach. Wrapping your mind around Astroknot is a challenge indeed! It is definitely one of our most complex puzzles, and is suitable for both logical and creative thinkers.
